Our History

In 2014, Warren County Common Pleas Judge Robert Peeler addressed a group of business leaders about the impact of heroin and opiates on the Warren County court system. Judge Peeler advised us that more than 80% of his docket was dedicated to heroin and opiate-related addiction illnesses. The heroin epidemic continues to expand its reach as overdose deaths in our area have tripled since 2014 and Ohio is #2 in the nation for overdoses. Our community continues to be eroded by this powerful epidemic.

But hope and help have also risen. Something very unique and special has begun to grow. OneCity Against Heroin is a unique organization that has brought together leaders from business, government and faith-based communities with a mission to bring rigor, discipline and action to helping deliver recovery resources.
